Taking Flip MinoHD Questions

Since the Your Kodak Zi8 Questions Answered video was such a success, I'm going to do it again, this time with the Flip MinoHD. As you may know, I recently received a review unit and have been using it for about a week now. I've learned a lot about the MinoHD and would like to help those wondering how it performs, whether it's worth a purchase, etc.

If you have a question, simply post it in the comments section and I'll try to answer it in a future video. Be sure to include your YouTube name or however you want to be referred to if your question is selected. Like last time I will pick about 10 of the best questions and answer them within a week. So what are you waiting for? Flood me with the best questions you can think of!

Do you think Flip will release a new camcorder (maybe with 1080p) within the next few months?

March 5, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAntonioWilson93

Hey, i have a few questions.

Compared to the zi8, which is better for low light?
Which feels more comfortable/natural in your hands?
Does the Mino have image stabilisation?

I hope your answer some of my questions on your video!

Thanks!

Does the new Flip have image stabilization? If not, does the shakiness ruin the quality of the video being shot?

Is it worth buying?

How is the editing software that comes with the flip.

March 5, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAndrew Hopkins

Hi David, I was wondering how the usb was built-wise. It seems to me since it has no flexibility like the Zi8 that it would break while hanging out of the computer usb port. (like the back of the iMac) Thanks

I actually have two unrelated questions. Of course, it is up to you if you want to answer them.

1. Do you find that one camera handles low-light conditions better then the other?

2. I have the older generation Flip Mino, and when I import the clips to iMove, I have to extract the audio to hear the sound. Is this still the case?

David, one feature the Zi8 has that many other pocket cameras don't have is a macro feature. I am also aware previous Flips did not have a similar feature, or autofocus. Does the new Mino have this feature? Also, do you think the macro function is something to consider when buying a camera?
